Education & Experience:

• B.Sc. with 3-4 years of relevant experience, or
• M.Sc. with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Note: Experience in the API and Intermediates Industry is mandatory.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conducting Experiments: Perform day-to-day experiments in the lab following standard protocols.
• Monitoring and Observations: Continuously monitor ongoing experiments and record detailed observations.
• Calculations: Calculate moles, mole ratios, and molar yield for reactions.
• Knowledge of Solvents, Raw Materials, and Catalysts: Familiarity with the properties of solvents, raw materials, and catalysts, including boiling point, melting point, density, freezing point, etc.
• Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Familiarity: Ensure proper understanding and usage of MSDS for safe handling of chemicals.
• Instrument Maintenance: Regularly check and maintain lab instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Reporting Issues: Report any difficulties or problems encountered during experiments to senior staff.
• Collaboration with AR&D and Stores: Coordinate with the Analytical Research and Development (AR&D) department and stores to obtain timely analysis results and raw materials.
• Glassware and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper cleaning and maintenance of glassware and lab equipment.
• Lab Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and tidy lab environment.
• Cleaning and Segregation: Clean and segregate glassware based on the requirements.
• Storage of Materials: Safely store raw materials, intermediates, and finished products based on their compatibility.
• Scale-up and Production Coordination: Assist in scale-up activities and coordinate with production chemists to ensure smooth transitions from lab-scale to production-scale processes.
